HyperX Cloud appeals a little more to the consumer side of gamers. The company has taken the wraps off of the new HyperX Cloud best budget gaming headset for ps4 Mix headphones, aimed at offering gamers a headset they can use in the game, and anytime else they may want a pair of headphones.

But is HyperX successful in delivering an experience that translates between both gaming and everyday life? We put the HyperX Cloud Mix headset to the test to find out.

The first thing you’ll notice about the HyperX Cloud Mix is that it looks like a HyperX headset. But with a few major changes. In particular, it features many similar design elements to the HyperX Cloud Alpha, albeit without the red color accents.

We think that’s a good thing for a headset HyperX wants you to take out and about with you.

You’ll find the logo of HyperX in silver on each ear cup, along with a few different controls on each one. Left ear cup, you’ll get an aux port and microphone jack, as well as a multi-control button, which is used to play and pause music, and take phone calls.

You’ll get a volume rocker on the right ear cup, as well as a power button and a MicroUSB port. We’re a little disappointed to find MicroUSB on this headset. It’s 2018, and the industry is moving to USB-C, so releasing a device with MicroUSB instantly dates it.

Apart from the MicroUSB port, the headset is pretty sleek and stylish. It’s clearly got a ton of padding in the ear cups and on the headband, and a strong metal frame holding everything together.

There is a solid amount of plastic in the design of the headphones, but it’s strong while still being relatively light, which is always helpful. The cabling is very strong too — it’s protected with a braided nylon, and we don’t think it’ll break any time soon.

Logitech G Pro best budget gaming headset for ps4 design makes it more like a professional studio headset than one designed for gamers. But the G Pro is made for gamers, but you won’t find out at first because of the lack of RGB lighting, colorful accents, and aggressive style. The G Pro is a simple all-black headset except for the two silver circles on the outside of each earcup.

With a sturdy metal surface and thick leather lining, this headset exudes premium building quality. And when you first picked up the headset, the suspicion was confirmed. Logitech feels studio level. It uses a thick metal frame that extends to the fork which holds the earplugs.

The outside of the earplug finished with a soft-touch coating that feels luxurious and also repels fingerprints. However, the earmuffs cannot rotate, which makes it a bit heavy when you take it off and put it on your neck.

Memory foam pads on headbands and earmuffs are soft and sufficient. If you are like me and run a little on the warm side, you can swap the faux leather ear cushions for a pair of fabrics that included with Logitech in the box. I found that my head remained cooler with cloth pads. I will not plan to replace different ear cushions regularly; they need a little skill to wear.

However, with other sets of earbuds, the headset is quite comfortable. I have a head that is larger than average, and the headset feels hard on the side of my head without being too tight. Telescoping ties allow you to adjust the size. Also worth noting: the headset fits in my glasses without pressing or moving around me, something I can’t say about most of the headsets I tried. Another small design point, but appreciated: the big “R” or “L” on the inside of the earmuffs clearly shows which side.

First things first, let’s get the ugly out of the way. The Corsair Void Pro Wireless is not a headset for audiophiles.

The main selling point of these headphones is above average sound quality without the hassle of dealing with any wires and they are best budget gaming headset for ps4, but they’re not going to rock your socks off in terms of fidelity. But if you’re looking for a comfortable, overall good headset that, this one has some pretty nice features.

With aggressive, angular circumaural ear cups, an all-black finish and RGB LEDs in each ear cup, the Void is an imposing headset, yet it isn’t absurdly large like many of its rivals.

It’s predominantly made from plastic, with what feels like metal for the joins between headband and ear cups, But it manages to feel more premium than Roccat’s Kave XTD thanks to its surprisingly hefty 388g weight. The ear cups might completely surround your ears, but they don’t heat them up like the more expensive Steelseries Siberia Elite.

The headband padding and ear cups use memory foam to create a very comfortable fit, with none of the pressure on your head. I experienced with the Turtle Beach Ear Force Stealth 450. I’ve comfortably worn the Void all day, without feeling the need to take it off and give my ears some air.

That does mean sound isolation isn’t perfect; I couldn’t use it at more than a quarter volume in the office, or my co-workers could hear my music, and I could still hear the sound of my mechanical keyboard when typing out this review. These are seriously loud headphones.

The boom microphone isn’t detachable, because Corsair has added what it calls InfoMic. A set of two LEDs on the end of the microphone that indicates sound mode and whether the mic is muted or not.

It means there’s no need for an onscreen overlay to interrupt your games, and you don’t have to minimise to change audio settings either. Pressing in the volume dial toggles between five sound modes; Pure Direct, Bass Boost, FPS Competition, Clear Chat and Movie Theatre.

Pressing and holding the button enables or disables Dolby virtual surround. Pressing and holding the mute button on the left ear cup will enable and disable microphone feedback. So you can hear your own voice when talking, and of course pressing it mutes and un-mutes the mic.

Its a big market out there for gaming peripherals. We’ve already noted many times that a lot of brands have been riding the ‘gaming’ hype to market their products.

This may work for gaming mice and keyboards but for audio its a really sensitive matter. And even more so for audiophiles and discerning audio enthusiasts who use their rig for far more than gaming.

While the rest of the gaming market may settle with heavily marketed bloat. There are still many out there who want the best in audio and will invest in a gaming audio experience that only the best can deliver.

Sennheiser best budget gaming headset for ps4 is one of the premier audio brand in the world. And there is no denying they have a solid line-up of audio solutions for any audiophile.

We’ve taken a look at the Sennheiser PC360 G4ME gaming headset a couple of years back and we remarked how impressed we are with the product. Fast-forward almost 4 years and we have one of the new offerings from the company for gamers: the Sennheiser GAME ONE. This along with the Sennheiser GAME ZERO are the company’s frontliners for gamers and we take a closer look at the GAME ONE in this review.

Sennheiser surprisingly goes different with their new GAME series of headsets, now packaged in white versus the traditional black packaging. That majority of Sennheiser products come in. A glamor shot of the product is displayed upfront with small prints of the model name.

At the back are specifications and features of the GAME ONE headset. Inside the package are the Sennheiser GAME ONE headset and a pair of cables: one for stereo+mic and one for mobile and consoles and we see the headset secured within another box.

Detachable cables is one of the newest features we’ve seen in the Sennheiser GAME ONE. With this, you can use the included sets of cables for both PC and console gaming. What we do miss though is the non-tangle cables of the older PC360 which despite their looks, really feel premium and seriously never tangle or kink.

It is now available in Black and White colors. Both of which have red trims to accentuate the headset, subtle yet stylish enough to exude a bit of that aggressive gamer steeze we’re known for. The sample we have is the white version and the color of choice is really bold despite its rather clean looks.

The earcups of the Sennheiser GAME ONE has not changed much and similar to many of the HD5xx series of audiophile cans, still retains the signature oval shape of the cups with distinct vents adorning the other side of the ear cup.

Sennheiser’s GAME ONE feature intuitive controls for its volume adjustment and mice mute: a discrete volume knob is located at the low-center of the right earcup for quick and easy access while the mic boom when lifted upwards, automatically mutes the microphone. Moving over to the headband, Sennheiser uses a contrasting black band for the white version (retains black for black version) extends to fit even the largest noggins.

These headphones are decent gaming headphones. The Razer Kraken Tournament Edition has a great microphone for online gaming and have a great gaming software app, which the very similar Kraken Pro V2 lacked. Razer Kraken Tournament Edition comes with a nice dongle that gives you control over bass, volume, and THX surround sound, on top of having a mic-mute switch. However, they sound just okay, and are very bulky and won’t be for everyone. On the upside, they are well-built and, thanks to their wired connection, users won’t have any delay when watching video content or playing video games.
The Razer Kraken Tournament Edition is a very capable wired gaming headset. It’s large, comfortable, and has powerful 50mm drivers that provide plenty of bass. It also works with almost any game system as a 3.5mm wired headset and provides very solid THX simulated surround sound with its included USB adapter cable for PCs. The adjustable bass is a nice touch, even if it doesn’t improve the headset’s slightly underwhelming performance in the highs.
This headset is known for gaming, including some very capable gaming headsets. The wired Razer Kraken Tournament Edition packs THX simulated surround sound, a 5.1-channel USB audio adapter, and dual 50mm drivers into a very comfortable design. It isn’t the fanciest headset out there, but it hits a sweet spot that delivers a solid feel, strong performance, and lots of features for a reasonable price.

The Turtle Beach Elite Atlas is a good wired gaming headset and is very similar to the Elite Pro 2 SuperAmp, with slight differences in performance. They still have the same comfortable design with thick and comfortable padding for long gaming sessions and great build quality. They have good audio reproduction that even critical listeners can appreciate, and their detachable boom microphone is great for online gaming and calls. Unfortunately, they aren’t compatible with the Turtle Beach Audio Hub app for customization options, and they don’t isolate much noise. On the upside, these headphones are a more budget variant of the Elite Pro 2 and perform similarly, so the SuperAmp may not be worth it for some.

The Razer Nari Ultimate best budget gaming headset for ps4 is a special headset.

Instead of just delivering high quality audio, these headphones also deliver haptic feedback straight to your ears.

If we speak broadly, it’s not the first of its kind – I was using a vibrating headset as far back as 2011. But it is the first of its kind that does haptic feedback in exactly this way. The Nari Ultimate is equipped with Razer HyperSense and it completely changes how you’ll experience the audio in your games.

Inside each earcup are two massive 50mm L5 haptic drivers. The sound they produce is big and wide with good channel separation for picking out oncoming enemies before they’re even in sight

I was impressed by the level of clarity in the mids and highs, too, which is important to hear the fine details in cacophonous games where little details often get lost in the mix. More than perhaps any other headset I’ve used, I would describe these as cinematic. It’s a weird way to discuss a gaming headset. I get it but hear me out.

The defining feature of the Razer Nari Ultimate is that haptic feedback. Working with Lofelt, makers of the Basslet, Razer has developed a system. That feels like nothing short of a subwoofer, vibrating the headset in tune with exactly what’s happening on screen. Think of sitting in a theater.

When deep noises take over the scene and you can feel them reverberating through you or those big moments hit. and you can feel the shake in your chest. That is what this headset does in the comfort of your living room.

That headset I had in 2011, and every one since, has worked with vibration motors like you’d find in a game controller. It’s off or on, nothing or everything, and they would give you a headache after a while. The L5 drivers are the next generation of that idea and respond to the exact waveform coming through the speaker.

Big explosions will hit hard and let you feel the power of the blast. But orchestral scores, planes flying overhead, the honk of a semi, will each land with a tight, constrained feedback that exactly matches the intensity you’d expect it to.

It’s not head-rattling or headache inducing. In fact, the actual shake of the headphones isn’t that bad at all. By embedding the haptic tech in the driver housings, that vibration can feel pretty profound without shaking you all that bad at all.

This headset is clearly tuned for games, so I found the default EQ needed to be adjusted to my taste for music.

Thankfully this was easy to do inside the Synapse 3 software. Which also allows you to control the intensity of haptic feedback and perform other customizations. Like adjusting the noise filtering on the microphone or the color of the RGB logos on each ear cup. Once everything is dialed in, the Nari Ultimate can sound good for music, Netflix, or anything else you’d care to throw at it.

The best part is, the haptic feedback will work even without being connected to a PC. You’ll be getting the full experience even when strapped up to your controller or smartphone with a 3.5mm cable. We weren’t able to test the headset on PS4, but according to the documentation we received, you can ever use the headset wirelessly with the included transmitter, but outside of PC,

The Nari Ultimate also features THX Spatial Audio. It sounds great and works well to retain positionality without soaking the signal in reverb. Combined with the L5 haptics, the Nari actively tries to draw you into the game, which honestly made action titles like Battlefield V more fun to play.

The haptic feedback is just plain cool. Being able to feel the game like you’re sitting in the middle of a THX-certified theater enhances the experience in a way that’s instantly more immersive. Few headsets can claim to literally change the way you experience your game. This is one of them and it’s nothing short of a blast to game with.

HyperX Cloud Flight best budget gaming headset for ps4 grants the most seamless transition from wired to wireless.

Out of any wireless headset on the market, with its instant connectivity, long-lasting battery life, and plug-and-play functionality.

Whereas a lot of wireless headsets have connection issues and problems. Registering with your PC, the Cloud Flight connects the second you turn in it on, every time.

Design and quality have always been a trademark of HyperX headsets, and the Cloud Flight is no different. It has a compact, ultra-lightweight, over-ear design that sits firmly on your head without feeling overly tight. Furthermore, it has some of the most intuitive and convenient on-ear adjustments out of any headset on the market making muting and adjusting volume an absolute breeze.

Finally, the 50mm drivers provide excellent stereo audio quality with clear highs and lows and everything in between. It does not have surround sound though, and the overall sound quality is still not on par with some of the best-wired headsets, but that is to be expected when you have a wireless headset with staggering 30-hours of battery life.

The headset has almost everything going for it. Great audio quality and a high-quality microphone that provides clear communication and great noise cancellation. Its design is comfortable, lightweight and has convenient on-ear media controls. Most importantly it’s instant connectivity, and extraordinary 30-hour battery life provides you with true wireless freedom that feels as consistent as any wired option out there.

This headset is one of the best and most user-friendly wireless headsets on the market, and when it comes to battery life and connectivity, it is second-to-none.

At first glance, the HyperX Cloud Flight has a simplistic, compact design that is hard to hate on. It’s lightweight design at only 315 grams and over-ear leatherette earcups ensure a very comfortable gaming experience, even during long gaming sessions.

It has a tight fit that keeps the headset firmly in place. That said, the tight design might be uncomfortable if you have large ears. And it does overall make it slightly less comfortable than the HyperX Cloud 2 that uses a larger earcup design.

The earcups are made out of breathable leatherette materials that keep the ears relatively cool even during warm days. Cloud Flight is a very pleasant pair of headphones to wear. But does fall a bit short compared to the most comfortable ones out there. Like the SteelSeries Arctis or even HyperX’ own Cloud 2.

The quality is great but once again doesn’t feel as durable as the Cloud 2. However, as long as you treat it decently well, you won’t experience any issues, and it can survive a drop on the floor without any problems.

The real genius in Cloud Flight’s design lies in its user-friendliness and overall convenience. It’s on-ear media controls are some of the most straightforward to use out of all the headsets I have tested. It has a large volume wheel that is easy to locate without taking off the headphones. Furthermore, the left earcup is more or less one big mute/un-mute button that makes muting your microphone in an instant easier than ever before.

The 50mm drivers deliver wonderfully clear sound quality with vibrant and defined lows, highs and mid tones. However, it is nothing out of the ordinary, and the quality is great but nothing more than what we’d expect from a high-end gaming headset.

The detachable microphone is flexible and easily muted through the earcup. The audio quality is great and provides clear communication with your team. Lastly, it has excellent noise cancellation, so you don’t have to worry about muting yourself while eating snacks or food while playing with friends.

The Cloud Flight can keep going for a whopping 30 hours straight, provided you don’t choose to turn on the breathing LED lighting. Luckily, the default mode is lighting turned off and with battery life at it’s best. You can however easily switch between no LED, breathing LED, and continuous lighting with the power button.

Once you plug in the 2.4GHz wireless USB connector, it is instantly registered by the PC, and all you then have to do it turn on the headset and you are good to go. No nonsense, no problems, it just connects instantly every time.

If you want all the convenience and freedom of a wireless set of gaming headphones. Then the HyperX Cloud Flight might be the best option on the market right now. It is unmatched in terms of connectivity, user-friendliness and battery life.
